Getting started

This guide takes you from “we just signed up” to “we’re taking orders” in about 30 minutes. Have your menu (photo or PDF) and logo ready.

1. Onboarding (5 min)

After you reach out via /contact, we’ll create your tenant account and email you a one-time setup link. Click it, set your admin password, and you’re in.

You’ll land on the admin dashboard at yourbrand.khaonow.dev/admin.

2. Upload brand assets (5 min)

In Settings → Brand, upload:

  • Logo — square PNG, ≥ 200×200
  • Hero image — landscape PNG/JPG, ≥ 1600×900
  • Primary colour + accent colour — picker, or paste hex
  • Brand font — optional, any Google Font
  • Favicon + OG share image — optional

Save. Your storefront at yourbrand.khaonow.dev is now branded.

3. Import your menu (5 min via OCR)

In Menu → Items, click “Import from photo/PDF”. Upload your existing menu image — the OCR pass returns a structured draft in about 30 seconds. Review, edit, and publish.

If you’d rather type the menu in manually, click “Add item” and fill the form for each one. Use “Generate description” to auto-draft copy.

4. Add branches (5 min)

In Settings → Branches, add each branch with its address, phone, and opening hours. The platform auto-creates a “Main Branch” on tenant creation — rename it or add more.

5. Set up your kitchen tablet (3 min)

In Settings → Kiosk + KDS, click “Generate pairing code”. On the kitchen tablet, go to yourbrand.khaonow.dev/kitchen and enter the 6-digit code. Done — the KDS is live.

6. Test order (5 min)

Open yourbrand.khaonow.dev on your phone in guest mode. Place a test order with cash-on-delivery. Watch it land on the KDS in real- time. Cancel it from the admin panel.

You’re live.
