In-store kiosk

Self-order tablets that work the way a customer expects: walk up, tap through the menu, pay (or pay at counter), get a table number.

Setup

Open a fresh tablet’s browser → go to <slug>.khaonow.dev/kiosk → admin scans the 6-digit pairing code. That’s it. Tablet is now a kiosk for that branch.

Re-pairing takes the same 30 seconds — if a tablet breaks, swap in another one without IT involvement.

Dine-in flow

Customer picks items, taps “Dine-in”, enters their table number (or scans a QR on the table). Order goes straight to the KDS with the table number prefixed.

Lockdown mode

The kiosk session restricts the browser — no URL bar, no back button out of the kiosk flow. Idle timeout (configurable per tenant) resets to the homepage so the next customer starts fresh.
